Aurucaniasugarcane This new yarn from Araucania is spun from sugar cane fiber.

And no, it's not edible.

It's another in what seems to be an ever-lengthening line of yarns that are spun out of unlikely materials.  Initially it seems to feel a lot like the bamboo yarns – very soft, bit of a sheen, smooth but not slippery.

So many choices . . . .
