Churchmouse is unveiling six new patterns tomorrow and we’ve got them all coming to our store! Please call us at 612-925-2454 if you’d like to reserve a copy of each.
May the luck of the Irish be with you & all of your works in progress today!
This Needlework Unlimited pattern might look challenging, but we think you’ll enjoy it – and you’ll learn new skills!
We’ve been knitting a long scarf for a shop sample with Isager mohair and Viscolin, but the photo in blue is a cowl that NU employee Michelle created. She made it a little wider and used Universe with mohair. She also added a ribbon detail for an extra feminine detail.
(Which has me thinking about using beads as an accent, too. Hmm…!)
Pick up the pattern next time you’re in the store.
…and size 11 needles. Cast on 13 stitches and work in rib for 80 inches. Repeat two more times. Now braid the three strips together, sew the ends, and add some pompons. Voila! This style would be an excellent way to stash bust, if each of the three strips was a different yarn or color. This one was done with Debbie Bliss Glen. Have fun!
Join Dora on March 14 and 21 to learn how to make a scarf with reversible cables! She’s modeling her class sample her, knit up in cozy, washable Longwood.
